Lkhagvasuren is a finance, investment, project and strategic management expert with over twenty-five years of experience in managing developmental and investment projects, overseeing financial management matters, implementing operational and portfolio management both in private sector and international development banks. Lkhagvasuren has worked for the World Bank as Portfolio Operations Officer for more than 8 years. During her time in the World Bank, she actively involved in preparation, delivery and implementation of projects in livestock and agriculture sector. Lkhagvasuren has also worked for the Asian Development Bank as a Public Finance Expert for 7 years and involved in formulation of Public Sector Management and Finance Law, amendments to the Law on Accounting, Law on Auditing and development of Law on State Audit, formulation of relevant procedures and regulatory frameworks. Lkhagvasuren co-founded SB Consulting, consulting firm after a career spanning the Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC as a Chief Financial Officer and Director for Investment Operations. Now based in Mongolia, Lkhagvasuren leads many of SB Consulting’s assignments advising government of Mongolia, MDBs, and major national corporations on project structuring, project management and financing and public sector policy as well as investments.
