Ochirbat Batzaya has 16 years of experience in procurement and contract management. He is proficient in spoken and written English, German, and Russian, and was enrolled in a Master’s program in Economic Geography (incomplete) in the Federal Republic of Germany. Batzayaa currently works as a Procurement Specialist at Setsen Bilguun Consulting LLC and has 12 years of experience in procurement and contract management for projects implemented by the Asian Development Bank and the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, as well as in the private sector. He has worked on urban development, water treatment, and construction sector projects, participated in negotiations with contractors and consulting service providers, and has implemented procurement policies, management systems, and procurement workflows throughout all stages of internationally financed projects.
