IFC has engaged our consulting team led by Lkhagvasuren Ochir to facilitate Mongolia’s National Development Agency in rationalising the Government’s Public Investment Plan (PIP) 2018-2021 to ensure ideal consistency with the country’s strategic priorities and fiscal limits. Our consultants together with the international expertise reviewed Mongolia’s national development plans and sectoral policies, which provided the basis for establishing criteria for prioritisation of investment projects submitted by miscellaneous sectors. SB Consulting screened over 170 investment projects and provided support to NDA in drafting of the PIP 2018-2021 and submitting to the Cabinet. Furthermore, Feasibility Study and optimal tariff estimates for new Central Wastewater Treatment Plant was assessed and relevant recommendations for setting up the customer tariffs for residential and industrial users were submitted to the Government of Mongolia.
